Hair colour Marrakech, mixed fresh at your riad
Roots do not pause for a holiday. If you are in Marrakech for a week or living here for a season, a clean colour can be the difference between feeling like yourself in the photos and ducking out of them. GLAMCREW sends a colourist to your hotel, riad or apartment to handle it, with her own colour, developer, bowls, brushes and barrier cream, so nothing lands on the nice tiles.
It is the full range, not just a quick fix: all-over colour, a root touch up to match what you already have, grey coverage, or a refresh of a tone the sun has faded. She matches the shade in the daylight you actually live in, talks it through before she mixes, and you settle up after it is rinsed and dried.
Full colour, root touch up or grey coverage
Tell us what you need and we send a colourist set up for it. A root touch up keeps a colour you already like looking fresh. A full colour changes or deepens the whole head. Grey coverage is matched to your natural shade so it does not read as a helmet of dye. Sun and hard water in Marrakech pull warmth into colour, so a toner often comes along to keep it true.
- All-over, single-process colour
- Root touch up matched to your current shade
- Grey coverage that still looks like hair
- Toning to correct brassiness from sun and hard water
A colourist who comes to you with the kit
The person we send is a trained colourist who does this every day, not a one-size box of dye. She brings professional colour and developer, mixes to your hair on the spot, and protects your clothes and the room while she works. If you have henna, box colour or old highlights in your hair, say so when you book: that history changes how new colour takes, and she will arrive ready for it.
Quick root touch up before an event
Have a dinner in Gueliz, a wedding in the Palmeraie or a shoot on a rooftop? A root touch up is fast, often under a couple of hours, and it travels to you, so you are not spending the afternoon in a salon across town. Book it a day or two before rather than the morning of, and you give the colour time to settle.
How at-home hair colour works
Send your hair details and, ideally, a photo of your current colour and the result you want. The colourist comes to you with everything, mixes to match, and walks you through the upkeep before she leaves. There is no deposit. You see it rinsed and dried, you are happy, then you pay, in cash or by card.
- Book online in a couple of minutes
- We cover the medina, Gueliz, Hivernage and the Palmeraie
- Pay after the service
Frequently asked questions
- Can you match the colour I already have?
- Yes. Send a photo when you book and the colourist matches the shade in daylight before she mixes. A root touch up is built to blend into the colour you are growing out, not to start from scratch.
- I have box dye or henna in my hair. Is that a problem?
- It can change how new colour takes, so tell us at booking. Henna especially reacts with some products. The colourist will come prepared and will be straight with you about what is safe in one session.
- How long does a colour appointment take?
- A root touch up is often under two hours. A full colour with toning takes longer, two to three hours depending on length and thickness. She brings everything; you just need a plug and a basin or shower.
- When and how do I pay?
- After the service, once it is rinsed, dried and you are happy. No deposit to book, and you can pay in cash (dirham) or by card.
