Event and photoshoot beauty in Marrakech, on set and on time
The light goes gold over Marrakech for about forty minutes, and on a rooftop in Hivernage that window is the whole shoot. The model is in the chair, the photographer keeps glancing at the sky, and the one element that cannot run late is the face. That part is ours. GLAMCREW sends makeup and hair to your set so the artist is already there when the light turns, kit open, brief read, hands moving fast.
We work shoots and events all over the city, for photographers, stylists, production crews, brands and the content creators who fly in for a few days of filming. Some days it is one face for a cover portrait. Some days it is a full cast for a campaign, or a single rooftop at sunrise, or three days out in the palm grove and the desert. The team comes to your riad, hotel or location with proper kits and a steady pace that does not wobble when the schedule moves. You book online and settle up once the day wraps.
The days we turn up for
Tell us the concept, how many faces, and the running order, and we match artists to the look you want. Clean, healthy skin for a catalogue. A glossy, full-glam face for a campaign cover. For a skincare or jewellery brand the brief is sometimes almost nothing, just skin that looks lit from the inside so the product stays the hero. We size the crew to the day, from one artist on a single headshot to a small team running a packed call sheet.

Makeup that reads on camera and in the room
A face that looks lovely across a dinner table can fall apart on a 4K monitor, and a face built only for the lens can look like a mask in person. The job is to do both at once. Our artists work for the camera first, building skin and definition that hold when the image is blown up on a screen, then they pull it back so it still looks like a real person on set. They know what venue lights and the Marrakech sun do to a base over a long day, so they set it, blot it, and keep it from sliding once the room heats up and the spotlights come on.
We stay through the whole call sheet
Call times run early here because the light does, and the team is there before the first look, set up and ready. Then they stay. Between setups they are back in with a brush, knocking down shine and rebuilding a lip after lunch, catching the strand of hair that slipped loose under the fan. On a multi-look day they plan the order of changes so the next look is ready while the camera is still on the last one, and they carry enough product to reset a face completely if the brief turns at six in the morning. Schedules slip. The team rolls with it instead of packing the kit at the hour printed on the call sheet.
One team for the whole cast
Most sets need more than one pair of hands. We send makeup and hair together, add grooming for the male talent, and put several artists on a big call sheet so the cast is camera-ready at the same moment, not stuck in a slow queue while the daylight burns. You deal with one team and one booking instead of chasing freelancers across Gueliz the night before. Give us the headcount and the call time, and we will tell you the size of crew it takes to hit it.
How to book a shoot or an event
Send the date, the location, the number of faces, and the look you are after. We confirm the crew and the hours, the team turns up to your set, riad, hotel or villa with everything in the kit, and you pay once the day is done. For a campaign or a same-week turnaround, give us as much notice as you can and we build the roster around your call sheet. If the location is out in the palm grove or the desert, tell us where and we fold the travel into the plan.
Frequently asked questions
- Can you cover a big cast or put several artists on one shoot?
- Yes. For campaigns, launches and busy shoot days we send a team rather than a lone artist, sized to your cast and your schedule. Share the call sheet when you book and we work out the crew to match it.
- Do you travel to locations outside Marrakech?
- We cover the city and the sets people shoot around it, from the palm grove to the desert dunes and up the mountain roads. Tell us where the location is when you enquire and we confirm the travel time and the logistics before the day.
- Will the artist stay on set for touch-ups?
- Yes. The team can work the full day, keeping the cast fresh between setups and resetting each look for the next change. Give us the call time and the wrap and we hold the right hours.
- Is the makeup made to hold up on camera and under hot lights?
- That is the whole point of it. The artists build looks that read on a screen and in person, and that survive venue lights and the afternoon sun through a long day, with touch-ups on set to keep everything sharp.
- How much does a shoot or event booking cost?
- It depends on how many artists, how many hours, and the scope of the day, so we quote you once we have the brief. You pay after the work is done.
