Bachelorette glam in Marrakech, brought to your riad
It is barely noon and the prosecco is already open. Someone has claimed the only decent mirror in the riad. The bride-to-be is sitting on the edge of the plunge pool in a robe, hair clipped up, waiting for her turn, while the playlist runs three songs deep. This is the slow, good part of a hen weekend, the morning before the night out, and it goes far better when the glam comes to you. GLAMCREW sends a team of artists to your riad in Marrakech, so the whole group gets hair, makeup and nails done in one place, with nobody leaving the house.
Here is what usually goes sideways. Eight friends, one mirror, a dinner booked for eight, and somehow the whole afternoon vanishes into hair straighteners and half-finished faces. We fix it by sending several artists at once, working through the group in parallel, so you are all ready around the same time instead of taking turns for three hours. The bride gets a little longer in the chair and a look made just for her. Everyone else relaxes by the pool until their turn comes, glass in hand.
A team that works in parallel
A hen party has its own rhythm, even a loose one. The driver is booked for half seven, the rooftop is held, and one artist working through ten people means the first friend is done and bored while the last one is still bare-faced and quietly panicking. So we do not send one artist. We send a team sized to your group, two or three or four of them set up side by side, a blow-dry happening on one friend while another gets her base done and a third has her nails painted. Getting ready stops being the chore before the party and turns into the first hour of it.
The bride gets her own moment
She is the reason everyone got on a plane, so she should not be squeezed onto a kitchen stool between two cousins. Tell us ahead of time what she is after, something soft and glowy for a long dinner or full glam with a lash for a proper night out, and we give her the good seat and the extra time. Bring a photo of a look she loves and the artist builds toward it. While she is in the chair, the rest of you are already half done, so the second she stands up the whole group is ready for the photo at the same time.
Everyone picks their own look
No two of you want the same thing, and that is the point. One of you wants a full evening face. Someone else just wants her nails done by the pool and could not care less about the rest. The friend who swears she never wears makeup usually comes round to a clean tinted look that still feels like her, once she sees how it is going on everybody else. You mix and match across the group, and we carry the kits for all of it.
- Evening makeup from 550 MAD
- Hair and blow-dries from 350 MAD
- Manicures and pedicures from 250 MAD
- Lashes when someone wants a little extra
Set up at your riad, by the pool
Most groups rent a riad in the medina or a villa out in the palm grove for a few nights, and that is exactly where this works best. The artists turn up with full kits and set up wherever the light is good, a courtyard table, the rooftop, a couple of chairs dragged over by the plunge pool. Nobody splits into taxis to hunt down a salon. Nobody books ten separate slots and prays the timing lines up. You stay put, the music stays on, and the glam comes to the house. Just tell us where you are staying and how many of you there are.
Timed around your dinner, and you pay after
Give us the one thing in the day that will not move, the dinner booking, the rooftop at sunset, whatever it happens to be, and we work backward from it. The team arrives early enough that you finish with time to spare and a glass still going, not flying out the door with one eye half done. You book the group online in a couple of minutes, and you settle up afterward, cash or card, once everyone has seen the result and is happy with it. No deposit to chase, no awkward maths splitting the bill on the spot before anyone has even looked in the mirror.
Frequently asked questions
- How many artists will you send?
- As many as your group and your deadline need. A big group that all has to be ready at once might mean three or four artists working together through the morning. Tell us the headcount and the time you have to be out the door, and we size the team to land it.
- Can everyone in the group get something different?
- Yes, and most groups do exactly that. One person has full makeup, another just nails, the bride gets the full look built for her. Mixing services across the group is normal, nobody blinks at it, from 250 MAD for nails up through hair and a full evening face.
- How far ahead should we book?
- As soon as you have your dates. Spring and summer weekends fill the calendar quickly, and holding three or four artists for one morning takes planning on our side. Once the riad is booked and you know roughly how many of you are coming, get in touch and we will pencil it in.
- Can we keep it a surprise for the bride?
- Of course. Plenty of bridesmaids set the whole thing up quietly and just hand us the bride's name and a photo of a look she would love. We turn up at the riad and she finds out when the artists walk in. If you would rather she chooses her own look, that is easy too.
- Do you come to a villa outside the city?
- Yes. The team travels to villas in the palm grove, out along the Ourika road and into the Agafay desert. Send us the exact spot when you book and we will confirm it works and sort the travel before the day.
